Greased Lightning
From the ‘Encyclopedia of Marvels, Life Forms and Other Phenomena of Zamonia and its Environs by Professor Abdullah Nightingale

Greased Lightning. A natural phenomenon observed exclusively in the city of Atlantis for the past several hundred years. Generally bow-shaped and blue in color, electrical discharges come shooting out of the ground, usually at night. Although no adequate scientific explanation of them has yet to be found, it has at least been ascertained that these shafts of lightning pose no health hazard other than death by mental trauma.
